Hope you all enjoyed the long weekend, despite the wet and windy weather. This week P6/7 will begin to learn about some of the historical Orkney sites we will be visiting the follow week. On Tuesday ICT Football Club youth workers return for another PE ‘Healthy Hearts’ session. We have now started our daily mile too! We have a route around the playground and aim to run for 12 minutes a day. This week in maths we are working on different strategies for addition and subtraction, patterns in the times tables and in practical maths, solving measuring problems. Thursday and Friday P6/7 will be in the high school for the Fish 2 Dish challenge- please try and come to their presentations on Friday if you can, 2pm at the high school. The audience gets one vote each. Homework for Friday 6th May ( P6/7 bring in on Monday 9th May)
If you have any questions about homework or about what your child is learning this term, please contact us at the school. Comments are closed.
