This we on RRR....we began building our very own mini-beast mansion. It will be a safe haven for lots of creepy crawly invertebrates. We are hoping for it to be a very desirable residence with six storeys. Any bricks, small logs that will fit between the pallets gratefully received...also clay plant pots...pipes....

Looks what’s coming to our school on Wednesday afternoon…the Scottish Wildlife Bus!
This is a double-decker bus fully converted to provide a unique and inspiring teaching space for children to learn about Scotland’s animals with a team from the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland. Click on the bus to find out how we can make a mini-beast hotel in our school grounds…we just need four pallets…and a roof. Any adults who have volunteered to paint for us still come along at 2 pm. We had another good session this week (thank you sunshine!). Lots of jobs on the go. We are starting to get offers of help too which we are delighted with. Still lots of adult friendly jobs to do so let us know if you can do any of them. We all enjoyed putting on our new boilersuits - don't we look great?! Then it was time to get down to some serious business...Hope you are enjoying our blog- please let us know if you can help in anyway....there's plenty of jobs for everyone, including putting up our new playhouse and store shed, creating a Nessie from tyres...making raised beds...playground markings to do....making a bouncy tyres area....
